Holliday Water Company continues to estimate many bills while upgrading meter-reading system
Over the past few months, we have been upgrading our meter system and are making very good progress. Each quarter our meter-reading vehicle travels along each street to collect electronically transmitted meter reads. It is efficient, accurate, and weve been doing it for the past 10 years.
The batteries in our transmitting units, however, are expiring so we're replacing them as fas as we can (shipment of new units has been delayed because of supply-chain issues). When installing these new units, we manually read the meters and make any required adjustments, which will appear on the next billing. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we update our system.

We are happy to help you set up payment arrangements if you are struggling because of a change in employment or other unforeseen situation.
Your Water Bill -- Clarification for Questions periodically asked:
1. What is the "Minimum Charge" (sometimes referred to as "MC").
Answer: The Minimum charge is a quarterly basic charge which covers the cost of treating the water, repairing lines, replacing old lines and the basic costs of delivering water safely to our customers.
2. So what is the "Water" charge?
Answer: The water portion of your bill is the actual water used by the customer; charged at the tier rates you can view by clicking on the Customer Service Tab and selecting Water Rates.
3. How do my Water Share(s) affect my water bill?
Answer: For each share the customer is given their first 60,000 gallons of water without charge. The item on your bill stating "non billable usage" is the amount you are given credit for with regard to your share(s). For each share: During the first and fourth billing quarters, you get the first 10,000 gallons at no charge; while during the second and third billing quarters, you get the first 20,000 gallons at no charge.

Holliday Water Company water rates
As you will probably notice, Holliday Water Company has had to increase the water rates in order to purchase the supplies and materials it needs to continue to provide safe, reliable and clean drinking water for shareholders. The company uses cost-of-living adjustments (COLA) annually to stay in step with fluxuating prices.
4. Is there an additional charge/fee for paying my bill with a credit card?
Answer: At the present time there is no service fee or additional charge for paying your bill with a credit card.
5. Can I set up my account for Autopay?
Answer: Yes, you can create an account through Xpress Bill Pay by going to the website: www.xpressbillpay.com and creating a user name and password. When you select Holliday Water Company you will be asked for your account number, which should be entered, minus the decimals., ie if your account number is 1.1000.1, your would enter it as 110001.
